Description
The familiar and beloved waltz Donauwellen (Waves of the Danube)—also widely known as the “Anniversary Waltz”—is beautifully set for brass band by John Glenesk Mortimer. Ivanovici’s hauntingly lyrical themes are perfectly suited to the sonorous quality of a brass ensemble. Mortimer includes alternate bass clef Trombone parts for ease of use. It is a universally recognized melody that brings a touch of sentimental nostalgia to any concert, making it a perfect selection for celebrations and community performances.
