Description
Requiem Aeternam is a unique and compelling original work by Norman Tailor. While it maintains the solemnity expected of a requiem, it is unusual for the inclusion of a rhythmic Allegro section that provides a dramatic contrast to the contemplative opening. Tailor includes an optional organ part to enhance the work’s symphonic scale. This piece is an excellent choice for a serious concert centerpiece, offering a modern perspective on a traditional musical form.
