Taken from Mozart’s Vesperae solennes de confessore, this is widely considered one of the composer’s most beautiful melodies. Nigel Horne has expertly arranged it as a Solo Cornet showcase, allowing the soloist to demonstrate classical grace and a smooth, “operatic” vocal quality.
