Written in honor of Guy Bonvin, Marche à Guy is a traditional and spirited concert march by Sebastian Bagnoud. The work features the classic hallmarks of a grand European march: noble themes, a rhythmic trio, and a triumphant final section. It is an excellent choice for a program opener or for use in civic parades and ceremonies. Bagnoud’s writing is clear and effective, providing a reliable and tuneful addition to the band’s march repertoire.
