Description
One of the most important and respected suites in the brass band repertoire. Written in 1934 by the great English composer Herbert Howells, this three-movement work (Kingâs Herald, Cortege, Joust) is a masterpiece of orchestral color and noble British style. It remains a pinnacle of the “test piece” repertoire and a major symphonic work.
