Originally written for the Elgin Symphony Orchestra, this stunning setting of the favourite carol has now been arranged for trombone soloist by Andrew Wainwright and was featured on the album ‘A Joyful Noel – The Orchestral Music of Andrew Wainwright’. The arrangement features ethereal shimmering harmony, depicting the wintry scenes that the carol describes.
