Franky & Johnny is an original and high-spirited composition by Norman Tailor that captures the essence of American folk music. Tailor’s writing bears a deliberate and playful similarity to the traditional tune “She’ll Be Coming ‘Round the Mountain,” making it immediately accessible and fun for audiences. The arrangement is robust and rhythmic, featuring alternate bass clef parts for Trombone, Euphonium, and Tuba. It is a fantastic “entertainment” item that works exceptionally well for outdoor concerts and summer bandstands.
