We specialize in sheet music for brass instruments–from trumpet, horn, trombone, euphonium and tuba solos to brass ensembles, brass bands, and concert bands. Our catalog contains over 5,000 arrangements by a wide variety of composers and arrangers from around the world.
The music ranges in difficulty from charts easily playable by students to those recorded by virtuoso performers. All our arrangements are graded for difficulty and include parts and score unless otherwise noted.

Our Family Business
Originally from Cedartown, Georgia, Dr. Casey Thomas is Assistant Professor of Trombone at Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama and the owner of Solid Brass Music Company. Dr. Thomas completed both his Masters and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees in trombone performance and pedagogy from The University of Iowa in Iowa City and his Bachelors degree in music education from Jacksonville State University. He is a member of Resonant Projection, a professional trombone quartet dedicated to promoting new and undiscovered works, The Rome (GA) Symphony Orchestra, and has performed with various ensembles throughout the South and Midwest.
Previous academic appointments were at Berry College in Rome, Georgia, Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa, and Saint Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa.
Farewell to Don Robinson
Why are we paying homage to him on our website? Well, some of you might know of Don because he’s fulfilled Solid Brass Music orders for the past year. But much more than that, he was a great and incredibly loyal friend to me almost my entire life. My wife Teresa and I, along with countless friends, are missing him dearly. Mr. Donald Cary “Don” Robinson, age 67, of Cedartown, Georgia passed away Friday, December 22, 2023.
Mr. Robinson was born March 27, 1956, in Rome, Georgia, son of the late William Bedford Robinson and Mary Lois Westfield Robinson.
Don had a great passion for education, having been an alumnus of Jacksonville State University in Alabama and the University of West Georgia. Mr. Robinson had a long career with the Polk School District (GA), beginning in 1982. He retired from the district as Director of Technology in 2019. Don also had a great love for music. Beginning in 2008, he began serving as Minister of Music for Cedartown First United Methodist Church. He was the Artistic Director for the Roman Festival Brass, a charter member of Spirit of Atlanta Drum and Bugle Corps, and performed with numerous local music ensembles. Upon retirement, Don became an avid golfer and developed quite an impressive short game. Above all, he loved his family and devoted his life to them. Mr. Robinson used his many gifts as a way to enrich the lives of others through music and education, quietly blessing his community and the people he loved. His friendship and love were a blessing to all who knew him. He leaves a legacy of humility, patience, sacrificial love, and service.
