Description
From the composer: This music was written shortly after yet another season of rampaging forest fires in California and shortly before the seismic devastation in that beleaguered nation of Haiti. I find myself reflecting upon the unsung heroism of the many men and women in many areas of life around the world who routinely put themselves in harm’s way so that others may thrive. These unselfish and courageous people — the firefighters in the forests and in the cities, the coal miners, the emergency rescue crews, medical aid workers, and countless others whose efforts on our behalf are little known and perhaps inadequately rewarded — deserve never to be forgotten. Our collective appreciation and gratitude may never be enough.
Difficulty 3
